As yesterday it was gloriously sunny I decided to walk half the Ringstraße to get to my first Bikram Yoga class :O)

The Town Hall
In the square in front there is always something going on! During summer the front of the building gets covered by a huge screen where operas, ballets & concerts are broadcast in the evenings and lots of food stalls provide the rest of an entertaining evening, in winter they install a huge ice rink and at the moment is houses a circus tent :o)
The famous Burgtheater where the emperor used to go to see his mistress perform ;o)
Cafe Landmann used to be famous as a gathering spot after a court dinner since it was served so fast that guests left hungry!

Fittingly directly opposite a wine bar opened so one can either celebrate successful examen results or drown ones sorrows ;O)
